Original Tallow Balm
Our Whipped Tallow Balm, the OG, is perfect for head-to-toe moisturizing and is a natural alternative to skincare that nourishes and supports your skin. Tallow is vitamin-rich (with A, D, K, E & B12) and contains anti-inflammatory fatty acids, making it extremely nourishing, moisturizing, and bioavailable to your skin.
Ingredients
Farm-raised grass-fed/pasture-raised tallow, organic extra virgin olive oil infused with homegrown calendula flowers, and essential oils of: lavender, cedarwood, bergamot, orange, and geranium.
Uses
The OG Tallow Balm can be used as an all-body moisturiser, especially on hard-worn areas (feet, elbows, and knees) or as an extra-duty helper in dry seasons. It can be used for skin issues like eczema and on cuts and scrapes.
Tallow boasts
Is safe for sensitive skin
Almost bioidentical to human skin, so is absorbed readily
Rendered at low temperatures in small batches to lock in nutrients
Great for dry skin, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and other skin conditions
No fillers, chemicals, or unnatural ingredients
Supports graceful ageing with natural vitamin A
Boosts collagen production naturally
Helps repair damaged skin and improve skin’s flexibility and suppleness
Is antibacterial and antimicrobial
Helps improve the protective barrier function of skin
How to Use
A little goes a long way! Start with a pea-sized amount and apply to problem areas, like rashes, dry skin, cuts and scrapes, eczema, etc. Gently rub tallow into the area and add more as needed. Store at room temperature or below. Tallow will melt if heated. If it becomes liquefied, you can solidify it by placing it in the fridge, and it will be totally fine. Sometimes, the texture will become grainy if this happens, but it is still completely safe to use. Be sure to use clean, dry hands and avoid getting water into your tallow, as this may cause it to spoil.
